Becca Polak

Becca Polak is the spokesperson for Alberta Proud. She is born and raised Albertan, calling Calgary home. She spent most of her career in service industry management before making a move to the energy sector in 2014. Presently she works in sales and marketing for an oil and gas service company.
After the 2015 provincial election in Alberta, she witnessed first hand the devastations of the NDP policies. It was then she found her passion for politics. In 2016, she became the Vice President of Communications for the Wildrose Party. In 2017, she was a member of the UCP interim joint executive board which was responsible for the amalgamation of the two provincial conservative parties. Her passion continued when she decided to run as a nomination candidate for the UCP in 2018 in the riding of Calgary-Mountain View.
Becca considers herself an "everyday Albertan". She understands the frustrations and roadblocks Albertans are currently facing. That is why she decided to get involved with Alberta Proud, to continue to advocate for the energy sector as well as the other industries that make Alberta great.
